This was our first cruise and we wanted to see places we had never been and enjoy a cruise experience, we were not disappointed the food was great as well a the entertainment, first class in every department. The staff on board were first class and could not do enough to help you, we even got an invite onto the Hotel Managers table on the captains night, apart from Venice we did our own trips every day, you can explore more, especially if you use a hop on hop off bus. Our cabin was on deck 3 and was adequate with enough room to manage, bearing in mind how little time you actually spend in it, we used the Meridian restaurant every night and the food was excellent with great service from our waiter to our wine waiter, never an empty glass. The evening shows have to be seen to be believed, a very high standard every night. Like I said it was our first cruise and since we got home we have booked 2 more already, life doesn't get better than this.
