We took this cruise, because we wanted to depart from Galveston, since we live in Houston. The embarkation was very smooth. We reserved a suite, and enter the ship around 11:30 am. The ship was clean and the cabin was very comfortable. Big bathroom, lots of closet space and drawers. Our dining experience in the main dining room was very good. We checked on Carnival's website and the ship has a 2,975 people capacity. During the day we found out they had 3,600 people on the ship. That, obviously, caused a disaster on breakfast and lunch line. There were too many people in line. The buffet space was too small. Usually, it took my husband and I around 40 minutes, just looking for a table and do the line. There was not much variety on the menu at lunch time. There were not many people cleaning tables, and that caused that a lot of people just stood up waiting for someone to clean dirty tables. This was our 4th cruise and the first and last one from Carnival. The shows were pretty decent. The live music was very good, especially the rock and roll group in the Casino stage, and the band who performed on the shows.

The safety briefing (drill) was extremely long and because it was on the outside, all people were sweating, babies crying. We hated it so much, and that was the first day without even departing.

In summary, a few things good, but the bad ones were too many, so I will never take a Carnival cruise again.
