We enjoyed the cruise on the Regal. We had been on two Mediterranean cruises with Princess previously and this cruise measured up to our expectations. Other reviewers had mentioned the lack of a central stairway by the atrium elevators and it did take some getting used to but we lucked out with our cabin being towards the rear of the ship so we could use those stairs.

The buffet area was a bit crowded at peak times and with cooler temperatures more people were inside than on southern Europe cruises. We found the best deal for breakfast was to go to one of the dining rooms for a sit-down breakfast. Menu rather than a buffet but how much do you really need to eat?

We ate all the evening meals in the dining rooms with our anytime dining option. We found the food to be good to excellent (especially the beef) and service was always good. We ate in different sections so were served by many different waiters and teams and found them all to be wonderful
