Sail Date: Jun 2016

I went on the Dawn in 2011 to NZ. Although it was a very rough trip there & back, the ship was in better condition than this last trip 2016 ---. Ship now . looks very tired, & the seats in the lounge area are frankly grubby.---- The beds badly need replacing. They are so soft, turning over is a problem.----- The food is very average, although I must say the staff obey the hygiene rules.---- the entertainment was 3rd. rate, but I suppose the young cruisers do not mind as long as it is loud.

On the good side, the staff are absolutely brilliant, they work so hard & are always so obliging. 5 out of 5--- The Ports & the local people are just amazing. This trip had much sadness with the horrific accident on shore. The Captain & crew all worked magnificently in the aid effort .---To sum up.---- Great trip, go up a class in ships, spend a bit more to be more comfortable..
