Sail Date: Jun 2016

My Mother's 80th birthday was June 17t. Since she loves cruising, I booked a mother-daughter cruise so she would be on the ship for her birthday. We had a lovely family party for her, then off we went on the 16th. I told my Mom she would love the ship as it was totally renovated (what the Royal Caribbean agent told me when I booked). The boarding went very smoothly, but when we entered the ship, I thought it was the wrong one. I have been on at least 25 cruises and this ship did not look like it was renovated at all. It had an old feel to it. The bathroom mirror was worn and the bathroom was old looking...like a cheap hotel room. The food in the Windjammer was fair. First cruise ever that only had milk for your coffee (which tasted like mud...full of coffee grinds) and little servings of non dairy creamer. What happened to the usual half and half? The food selection in the dining room was fair...no originality as usual. Very little no sugar added desserts. The plusses were being a small ship no wait for pool chairs or to be seated in the dining room, EXCELLENT service in hte Windjammer and Dining Room. Vanessa in the Windjammer was a beautiful, lovely girl who was always accommodating. The Dining Room waiters Delroy and Arjay were great. The head waiter Diana bent over backwards to try to please us. Another plus was the NON-SMOKING casino. In general, Royal Caribbean is not the same as it used to be.

Cabin Review

Cabin interior

Small. Thank goodness I am not fat or I would not have fit in the shower. Old frayed mirror Felt like I was staying in a cheap hotel (not that I would) A lot of pace for our clothes and we had a lot!
