Sail Date: Jun 2016

Our third Carnival cruise. We sailed on Conquest, Magic, and Breeze. Last cruise was two years ago and it was very similar to the first. Both were 5-star experiences. Sorry to say the cuts by Carnival over the past two years dampened our experience so much our next cruise will be with someone else. Noticed cuts:

the shows no longer feature a live band, only singers/dancers with recorded music. The magic show was a joke. There are still 3 servers at the 6 and 8 dinners to cover an area, but they must have added more tables to be covered. Our meals were slow from start to finish and I never saw anything less than hustle buy all the servers in the room. Table clothes and proper dinner hardware were gone except for elegant night and this makes the room feel even more casual. I felt overdressed in docker slacks and long sleeves. More than ever really nice food items are offered for a price and not included in the cost of the cruise. The liquor purchased on the ship is no longer delivered to your room. You pick it up in the morning. The line is long and lots of orders were incorrect. I (and most others) was in line for over an hour and a half waiting to pick up the liquor we purchased. The embarkation and debarkation process were better than years past.
