My friends and I wanted to do Mardi Gras but not the whole week. So this was the perfect cruise. We left on Saturday and returned on Thursday which gave us plenty of time to see the sites and parades in New Orleans. The ship is small and a little outdated but I can go on the tiniest, oldest Carnival Ship to the middle of the ocean and still have a good time. This trip we enjoyed the casino...a lot. We got to know the host and enjoyed some surprising free fun games. Our cabin was nice and clean. We enjoyed the shows and comedy. One of my favorite things on a cruise is the breakfast omelet. The line is usually a little long, but well worth it. Didn't participate in the pool activities or Carnival Shore excursions much, but highly recommend the dolphin experience in Cozmuel. I booked ship again with 10 friends and family out of Jacksonville going to Bahamas.

My cabin was small, but I knew I wouldn't be spending anytime there except to shower, change and sleep (very little).
