Was on the Star, for the North Cape Itinerary, first time in a suite SJ family suite. Let me start with the negative, when we booked the cruise we were told that the Queen size bed would convert into 2 single beds as I was travelling with my mum, when we arrived at the suite the bed was clearly not able to be split, when we questioned the room steward he said this was changed at the last refit. This was not a real issue as there was also a sofa bed and a pull down bed.

Now the positives - and there are many. Firstly the staff on board were excellent, I did not meet one crew member who was not polite helpful and genuine in helping make this our most enjoyable cruise on NCL so far. (2 x on the Sun, 2 on the Star and 1x on the Sky)

We did eat mainly in the speciality resturants as we had the ultimate dining plan, we had really good food in all of them, but I would call out the Lobster tails in Le Bistro, and the Fillet mignon in Cagneys. As we were in a suite we were able to eat breakfast and lunch in Moderna, were the staff were attentive, polite and got to know what you wanted, coffee on the table as soon as you sat down to breakfast now that is good service. But we did eat in both the Market Garden and Pub and both were good as well.
