We are fortunate enough to have been on many cruises. This was our first time with Princess Cruises. We wanted to see as much of Australia as possible - to circumnavigate seemed wonderful. The ship was full - about 2000 passengers. It was overcrowded! Dining areas were full - it was very difficult to find a table at times in the self service restaurant. To watch the popular evening shows you had to get to the theatre at least half an hour before it started or there were no more seats. Getting off the ship was awful, especially in tender ports. Broome was the worst - we waited 3 hours to get our tender ticket called and in the end gave up. There was such a delay in one port of call that we were late in leaving on our afternoon excursion which meant that we missed lunch. No proper food from breakfast until our return after 5 p.m. Our final embarkation was very well organised!

There were many leaks in the ship and areas were regularly cordoned off. The sound of dehumidifiers and blowers was commonplace.

Considering how much we paid for our balcony cabin we were disappointed - it was very small compared to other ships. The cabin steward was excellent, as usual!
