Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony
I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I read a lot of unfavorable reviews but decided the itinerary was more important to me than the food. We were a party of 6. 3 generations. Ages 22, 23, 23, 51, 65 & 73. We had a wonderful time.
We spent 2 days in Venice prior to the cruise at the Crown Hotel through Norwegian. The only complaint I have is that our ride from the airport to the hotel wasn't there to pick us up. They had the wrong time but in any case our flight was delayed. The hotel neglected to tell our travel agent that if our flight is delayed more than 30 minutes they don't have any transportation after midnight. We ended up taking a cab.
As for the cruise, embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth. We had 2 ajoining balcony rooms on the 11th floor midship. The only complaint would be on occasion there was a delay in the flushing of the toilet. Never more than a couple of minutes and that was rare.

The cabin was clean. Bathroom was more spacious than other cruises I've been on. I loved the balcony. We had 3 in a room so it was a little tight. I was on the pull-out couch. It was more comfortable than I expected.

Loved Venice! Stayed in the Crown Hotel. Just a 25 minute train ride from Venice. Worked out very well.

Don't miss arriving into the port. Definetly worth the 6:30am wake up call.
