Loved everything about this River cruise BUT what made it "so special" was the warmth and competence of both the program director Stella Jansen (the best we have seen in decades of cruising along multiple cruise lines) and Captain Marcel Stephan. These two individuals epithimize what "customer care" is all about. Having been an senior executive myself I would be so proud to have these two individuals at the head of my businesses. We can only hope the Mr. Hagen (Viking's CEO) recognizes these folks as the real "ambassadors" they are. Thank you to all of the staff of Viking Gefjon in making this a cruise to remember for years to come. Believe us "it was ALL good" form cabin, public spaces, super dining and basically dealing with folks who care.

Captain Stephan (along with his Forst Officers) ran the ship as if we're their own and all are very accommodating in answering any question. Tessa Jansen gets a true "10" from both of us. WELL DONE
