Very conflicted about my feelings of Royal Carribean and this trip. The ship itself was below par from what I've heard about Royal Carribbean. I was expecting it to be beautiful due to the refurbishing that postponed our original trip. It was clean but felt dingy. Everything felt cramped, from the room to the hallways, even the stage seemed too small for the performers. The air conditioning did not work properly throughout the ship and in the rooms. The ice machines at the Windjammer and water stations kept failing and a staff member would have to fill glasses from a tub.

The cruise director and his staff were very entertaining and did a great job providing plenty to do while onboard. I did not like that most of the nightly parties were held in the center of the ship on the stairway, especially since my stateroom was the closest down the hall. I was not feeling good one night due to constant rocking and too much heat and was unable to rest in my cabin because of the party outside my room.

The food at the Windjammer was never hot, even at opening. It always seemed warm at best and was bland.
