We initially sailed on this ship this past November/December 2015 and I gave the ship a very bad review for many reasons, not just one instance. This trip was booked prior and I was planning on cancelling it due to the horrendous experience we had. The powers to be at Celebrity called me personally after my bad review and spent an hour on the phone listening to issues and I felt, really paying attention. They asked me to try again and give them another chance and honestly I was on the fence, the experience was that bad. We have sailed on more than a dozen Celebrity cruises in the past and that cruise was not up to their standards. As it got closer to the date I was weakening because it was an itinerary I really wanted to go on. And so we did. I am glad we did. The unhappy ship that we were on in November turned itself upside down and you could feel the change, see the change. The service was better, in fact outstanding this time. Some familiar faces in the service area and this time they were happy and smiling. The food was better, except the cafe upstairs, which was ordinary and not really up to Celebrity standards. After a long day of excursions if you arrive back to the ship after 2 pm, food options are limited and not healthy. its a long wait till dinner at 8 pm. They put out cheese, but no cracker, they tell you to use bread. Really? Tea time at 4 pm at least gave us scones and some desserts. Still, not healthy. Would have liked a fruit salad or a green salad option. But that was my only complaint.

The Shore Excursion Manager, Ana, went out of her way for us and was class A in our book. The itinerary on this cruise is not for the weak. Every day its an 8-10 hour tour. Much to see and absorb and the next port of call quickly becomes your favorite till you get to the next one and wonder how could it get better. The Dalmatian coast is breathtaking and not to be missed. A full day in Venice was my highlight, having been there before years ago, it was all new to me again as the memory dims. Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and Kotor were all amazing and I only wish I had the stamina to repeat it again. Isle of Capri is not to missed. Being in Rome many times we wanted to do something different and found a tour "Rome by night". Is was a beautiful new experience that is highly recommended. In the end we were so exhausted by this full itinerary with only one sea day, it took 2 weeks to recover from our "vacation" at home.

The only negative I have and its not the ships fault, is so close to the last trip the shows were the same. So mostly we didn't enjoy seeing the same show again and left early.

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

Cabin 2A

This is the first time we didn't travel concierge or aqua class due to the fact we were only on a "guarantee". The ship was sold out so we took what we could get. The room was way too small for us and difficult to maneuver around. The couch was a love seat and barely fit. I will not travel for 12 days again in such a small room. It felt as if we were squeezed in.
