Four of us went on the Discovery inaugural cruise. We have been on many of Thomsons other ships so were looking forward to being on a bigger ship of Thomsons. Well where do i start cabin fine, breakfast plenty of choices but felt very let down by staff not clearing tables or wiping them clean after removing dirty dishes this also applies to the lunch time dining as well . This was in the self service restaurant. Also the lunch time food was very poor in choice, the salads were laid out strange in deep bowls. The public areas have been refurbished very nicely but we felt the the air conditioning was far too cold. Did not realise that Thomson have done away with the wine waiters in the main dining room the poor waiters had to do drinks orders as well as the food. We did the cruise and stay and felt that our stay in Majorca the second week was the better of the holiday which we would not have expected to say.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

Can't fault the cabin. First time in an inside cabin and was very comfortable. Also cabin steward was very efficient.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Ports of call were very good couldn't fault .
