Went on Majesty of the Seas for 4 night cruise from Port Canaveral. It was excellent! Boarding was delayed 1.5 hours due to ship coming in late because of rough seas but that is not RCL's fault and we were notified via text. Ship was clean, no line at customer service or on board excursions so it was easy to take care of business and get any questions answered. Room was ready by 1, luggage available shortly thereafter. Had interior room, no bells and whistles but nice and clean. Pools always busy but they are on every ship I've ever been on. If you want to swim laps, stay at home and go to the gym! Recently installed tv screen poolside was good. Showed movies like Zootopia and Top Gun and also trivia. Windjammer food was tasty, had nice variety. Breakfast bread especially good. If you can't find something there, stay at home and cook for yourself! Had Sorrento's Pizza several times, and it makes a good snack. No, it won't be as good as your pizzeria at home, but it's only meant to be a little something to snack on as you're roaming around the ship.

Had dinner in Moonlight dining room and it was fantastic!!! Never had a bad meal. The beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes was exceptional, one of the best meals I've ever had! Lasagna and steak were also great, and lemon meringue pie for dessert was heavenly. Wait staff (Patel and Felix) were attentive and anticipated our needs. We asked for iced tea and cappuccino the first night, and they automatically brought the next nights! They also offered repeatedly to bring something else if we did not like something. Casino was fun. I lost but that is not RCL's fault! The shows were all enjoyable. Saw comedian the first night and he was funny! Shows are heavy on 70's and 80's, but I like that and thought the lead singer had a nice voice. No, it's not broadway shows like on the Oasis, but if that's what you want, then book with the newer ships!

Port of Nassau was fun. No shore excursions, but went on our own and saw Fort Fincastle, Queen's Staircase, and the Straw Market. I did like it better years ago when people made their own things to sell, but oh well, times change! Coco Cay visit was changed due to windy conditions, but there again, not RCL's fault. We went to Nassau early and visited Coco Cay on our sea day. Went on the scuba dive and it was a nice reef, lots of fish and an eagle ray swam close to me! No, not tons of sharks or turtles, but if you want that, dive off Jupiter, Florida! It was definitely worth the money. Did the stingray city excursion and totally enjoyed it. Got to feed and pet rays.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

Basic interior cabin. Clean. Good shower, had hot water and strong water pressure.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Live in Florida, so no biggie to do stuff there!

Nassau

No excursions. Walked around on own. Do your own research if you want to visit particular things such as the Queen's Staircase. Most things are within walking distance of port.
