First time we had cruised with NCL and really enjoyed it. There were six adults in our party and we didn't have too many problems finding seats together except in the Garden café Buffet! Our balcony cabin (12052) was clean and comfortable. Larger people might struggle a bit in the shower and toilet, but we had no problems. The cabin steward (Nelson) was excellent.
Good variety of bars on the ship - we preferred The Maltings, especially when looked after by the excellent Sekai. We all had the beverage package which was great, excellent choice of drinks throughout the ship, cocktails, whiskies and other spirits, draft and bottled beers.
The Garden Café buffet was excellent although very busy - we often sat just outside which was much quitter. The Manhattan and Taste Restaurants were both good, but the menus for both were almost (if not completely) identical, which was a slight disappointment. The menu in the Shanghai Restaurant was not extensive but the quality of the food and service was excellent. O'Sheehan's had some excellent snacks in addition to main meals. We didn't try any of the speciality restaurants with cover charges as we were more than happy with what was available elsewhere.
Las Ramblas not the same without the entertainers, but still a lovely city with lots of good restaurants
Just had a walk around the port area
Again we had a walk around the port and front area plus we took a trip around Cannes on the 'little train' at 10 euros a head. Lovely port, would like to return and see more of it.
Unfortunately one of our party had their wallet stolen, which we discovered a short time after we had commenced a private taxi tour. We had to return to the ship, which was a bit of a downer. We were not very impressed by the little we saw of Marseille.
