My wife and I stayed in Neptune Suite 010. The room was large and well laid out and the furniture was comfortable. But the air-conditioning was not sufficient, even though it was in the 50s and 60s outside. There was a 4 foot pole fan in the room when we arrived, and we used it most nights. I assume the prior occupants of the room had asked for the fan because of the weak air-conditioning. Also, there was a sewage smell in the room most of the time (I have seen a review by another passenger making this same complaint). I assume it came from vents in the ship's holding tanks because it was not coming from the bathroom in the suite. Suite 012 (next door to 010) also had a sewage smell on occasion, but not as constant as Suite 010. I also detected the smell in or near the stairwells on numerous occasions.

Room cleaning service was very good, as was the hostess in the Neptune lounge and the steward assigned to the room. Free laundry service that came with the suite was not very good. The laundry was picked up and delivered promptly, but the quality of the cleaning was not so good.

We only signed up for 2 of the excursions (a taste of Charlottetown and a walk through historic Halifax) and both were very good. All of the ports were enjoyable except for Sydney, which is kind of a waste of time.
