This was our first cruise and overall it was very enjoyable. The flight was good with plenty of space, good food and choice of entertainment.

On arrival we were transferred to the docks for check in. As it was a chartered flight by P&O our luggage was taken at the airport and would be delivered to our rooms. Our photos were taken, credit card registered and cabin keys were given. On boarding our cards were swiped, hand luggage X-rayed and we were free to find our cabin.

We had one balcony and one inside cabin, they were a good size with complimentary tea and coffee facilities and bottled water that could be purchased. In comparison many cruise ships have complimentary water as well. Although we were given chocolates on our pillow every evening (not many ships still do this) I would prefer complimentary water. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the bathrooms were ample size with fresh towels, shampoo and shower gel. The balcony was a good size with two lounger chairs, footstool and small drinks table. Although having your cases delivered directly to your room should be convenient, we had to wait three hours for our cases to arrive. We have never experienced this problem before and just wanted to freshen up after our long journey.
