Booked this one a month before because I had the week off for vacation, liked the idea of driving 4 hours to get on a ship and exclude the hassle and cost of flying especially with that recent 3 hour TSA wait nonsense. I sailed RC for the first time early this year and thought while some lines do some things better, RC is really the best all around line I've tried.

This was hands down the best crew I've had. Everyone gave quick and courteous service. The last cruise I always got a receipt to sign, which made me feel kind of obligated to tip additional each drink, though I have the drink package and the gratuity is counted. I only got a receipt sometimes this time. I happily tipped additional. The pool deck bar has a great set of bartenders. Noel at Schooner was very good. Anastasia in Gatsby was wonderful as was the young, Croatian manager, and I feel terribly I can't remember her name right now.

If you want a wild activity try the Adult Gameshow the second to last night. And if you can borrow your Granny's extra pair of dentures, bring them along for 50 bonus points. Also, make sure you wear a bra you can remove quickly. I also recommend Etta May's show if you have on the cruise.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

I had a large interior, but large is like 1 footstep larger. The location is pretty decent. I like being on the higher levels, and we had 2 days of fairly rough seas. Enough to shut off the deck doors for a while and have sea sick bags out on the banisters. It's at the end of the ship but I had a limited selection of rooms to chose from because I only booked 1 month in advance. I might splurge and get a balcony next time, but definitely at least window. There's no alarm clock and I normally hate using my cell on a cruise. I did this time and the Zoom internet is Ok to decent. The room will get pitch black. The linens could be upgraded and the beds are a bit firm, but it has all your basic needs covered.
