The ship may be very new but the decor is almost silly-it does not look like any luxury hotel we've ever stayed at. Cabins were fine. Cabin stewards were excellent. BUT service in the Lido, bars and even the dining room was very lackadaisical; many times we had to go find someone to get us drinks, consistently. Food was fine-having just come off a cruise on HAL Zuiderdam, the menus were nothing new. Beer selection is lacking especially given the proximity to Germany and other countries that have good beer. The amount of paper that shows up daily is embarrassing. For a line that claims to be 'eco' friendly, they need to stop putting 4-8 pieces of essentially junk mail in your cabin daily. Notices of sales and specials should be put on the TV. Every piece of paper went directly to the waste paper basket. Shore excursions were overpriced and a bit disappointing. Also being the 'biggest' of HAL's ships, there were lines all the time for everything. You'd think they'd have figured out how to handle large numbers of people but finding seats for meals in the Lido was a constant challenge.
