Chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Venice and Croatia and because we have been on the Thomson Dream twice before and enjoyed both times, this was four and five years ago.Check in went OK at terminal and cases waiting outside cabin when we got there,we did however notice a drop in housekeeping standards on the stair wells with handrails badly tarnished (on previous cruses these were kept highly polished and looked spectacular ). we also noticed that there was quiet a mix of waiting staff and some were quiet rude and slow.Cabin was the same one as we had last time and was kept very clean and the attendant was nice man and checked to see that things were ok. The food was OK with reasonable selection. The shows were good but the team didnt seem to come round and communicate with people like they have in the past to get things going . Out in the pool areas most handrails could do with a coat of varnish and looked a bit shabby. All the ports of call were good. Just one more thing and thats the drinks package,be aware that the drinks you can have without charge are very limited but you can purchase a further package on the ship to enable you to get decent drinks .Will monitor Thomson on cruise critic and need to see some improvements before we use them again
