We picked the Oasis as a "ship" vacation as we had teenagers and young adults with us. It is a fabulous ship. The overall cruise experience was outstanding.
Embarkation was very smooth. We arrived at the pier in Ft Lauderdale at 10:45. We were onboard by approximately 12:00.
We had a cabin overlooking Central Park. It was spacious and comfortable for the two of us.

San Juan
We took the trolley to a fort. We then walked in town to the "Mallorca" restaurant. The mallorcas are delightful pastries (at that place they are flattened, lightly sweet bread with powdered sugar on top that can be made with eggs, cheese, etc). Then we went to the place that the Pina Colada was supposedly invented. Great stuff!!!
Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
Nothing in Ft Lauderdale. Just embarkation and debarkation.
