Sail Date: Jun 2016

Booked this cruise expecting a Thomson cruise. Unfortunately this ship is sailing under the TUI brand so things are different and in my opinion worse.

The sitting times for dining have been removed so guests can turn up for dinner whenever they want. This caused big queues and a lot of waiting around for tables at busy times. The food was good though although dinner is now only 3 courses maximum and the menu seemed less varied for example, beef of some sort every night. There is no fun around te dining room now like the singing waiters and Baked Alaska parades. The waiting staff seemed overworked and became far less talkative as the week progressed. Breakfast on our last day was straight out of fawlty towers. We would have been annoyed if it hadn't been so entertaining watching mistake after mistake.

Most customers seemed to be all inclusive for drinks but bar staff were few and far between so waits at the bar were up to about 20 mins at busy times. The bar staff in some areas appeared VERY unhappy, I felt uncomfortable ordering drinks in some bars as I really didn't want to make their life any worse.
