Every year myself and 2 of my friends take a much needed trip. Since we all turned 45, we decided to take a trip of a lifetime trip. We chose a cruise because we would be able to see different ports and have food and lodging included in one total price. Plus we would be able to pay in installments.

We booked everything through Carnival including our flight. We also prepaid airport transfer fees and gratuities. Luckily, we arrived at the airport early because there was a problem with our tickets. After arriving at the airport, we weren't able to print our boarding pass because although Carnival sent confirmation emails regarding our arrival and departure flights, they changed the flight information at the last minute. At first, we were supposed to go on Air France, but ended up on Delta Airlines. When the flights were changed, we were red flagged because Delta only showed us with one way tickets to Barcelona. If booking flights through Carnival make sure that you verify all ticket information at least 2 days before your flight.

Airport transfers....Carnival contracts with a company to take you to and from the airport. After getting our luggage, we had to wait in line in order to check in with the contract company. After checking in, we had to wait approximately 15 to 20 minutes for the bus to arrive. We were escorted outside to get on the bus. The walk is a little distant. Our escort took us to lane 20. The bus wasn't there. We then had to walk to lane 2 and the bus still wasn't there. Please note that when you check in, your luggage is also checked with the company. They will transport the luggage to the ship. We had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes before the bus arrived to take us to the ship.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Cabin...We stayed in cabin 3211 which has an ocean view. The cabin was a nice size. It had 2 bathrooms. In the first bathroom, it had a toilet, shower and sink area with glass shelves. The second bathroom had shelves, a sink and a tub/shower combo. There were 3 closets. The first closet had drawers and a safe. The second closet had space to hang shirts and also have shoes. The third closet had space to hang dresses and anything long. There was also a desk where the telephone sat and it had shelves. We kept our beds separate. Beside 2 of the beds, there was a nightstand that was able to hold more items. There was a lot of storage space in the room.
