Sail Date: Jun 2016

We cruised on the Oasis of the Seas, out of Fort Lauderdale on 6/11-6/18. It was myself, 45, DH, 43, and DD, 17.

We have only cruised on Carnival before, and love the product they offer. But we always knew we wanted to try one of the "BIG" girls. Our itinerary for this sailing was St. Maarten, San Juan, and Labadee. Three new islands for us, so that also helped with our decision.

We flew in a day early and stayed at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale. We had a premium suite that overlooked the port, so when we woke up on Saturday morning, there she was........in all her GLORY. Our day had FINALLY come. Went downstairs for the complimentary breakfast, and back up to finish repacking our suitcases. We took a taxi to the port, and arrived at 10am. Handed our bags off to the porters and went immediately to the counter to check in and get our Sea Passes. No lines, whatsoever. Nice!
