To celebrate my daughter's graduation from college, I took her and my 20 year old son on this Eastern Med. cruise. My husband and I are traveling again in Europe in a couple weeks (on a Viking Danube cruise) so he stayed behind for this trip.

We embarked following a few magical days in Rome, and settled in to our Penthouse suite (1611). In March we sailed in the Caribbean on this same ship, then in a Royal suite and for the kids a concierge stateroom adjoining our suite. The enormous space of this suite and impeccable service helped to make this a vacation we won't forget. If we were at all unhappy the fault would have been our own.

Prior to leaving the states we were contacted several times by a Celebrity shore concierge who inquired about dining preferences and other stateroom preferences, including what beverages we wanted in the refrigerator. This was a nice touch, however half of what we had requested somehow was never communicated to the ship. No worries, our butler took care of the dining reservations and the fridge but I was a little confused. They called me three separate times -- time enough to get it right.
