This is my 4th Disney Cruise and I must say it was probably my favorite so far. I've been on all the other Disney ships, and the Wonder is by far an older ship, but well kept and very clean. You definitely still experience the Disney atmosphere, it's incredible. We embarked from Vancouver, and the transportation was quick and easy, Disney does a great job with getting you to feel valued. The ship itself is incredible, it was a full ship, yet we didn't feel crowded. Our room was very spacious for my wife and I, and we had a great host who made us feel right at home. The 3 different restaurants are amazing and provide exceptional food, we would order a few different items on the menu because it was so hard to pick. The entertainment and shows were excellent, I felt as if I was at a broadway show in New York. There are plenty of activities for everyone. We had our own adult activities that we would go to daily, and they also had a lot of fun activities for families, children and teenagers. You get the best experience with Disney regardless of your age. The grab and go snacks and fast food was delicious. They always had the hot chocolate machine going which was good for this cruise. The breakfast and lunch buffet was amazing as well, they had a great variety of food.

Alaska was superb. I would go on this cruise again in a heartbeat. You just don't get that kind of scenery or experience anywhere else. The shore excursions were absolutely amazing. We chose to do the Liarsville Disney Character experience in Skagway and that was fun. My wife loved doing the gold panning, and taking pictures with the Disney characters. We also had a buffet lunch on that excursion and the salmon was great. In Juneau, we kayaked on Mendenhall lake to the glacier, and let me tell you, DO THIS EXCURSION!! I have never been so close to such an amazing glacier, the view and pictures are priceless, and our guide was absolutely amazing. They said that was a new excursion that was added this year, and I see it becoming very popular. Our last stop was Ketchikan, and this was probably my favorite town. We did the Jeep and Canoe excursion and it was fun. We got to off road up to a mountain which overlooked the town and bay, and the views were beyond beautiful. After the excursions at every stop, we got to walk through the towns and shop and get some souvenirs and try some Alaska food and snacks. I would highly recommend any one of those excursions to anyone. If you enjoy sightseeing and walking through small towns, then do any of the above excursions.

We also purchased the Rain Forest pass on this cruise. It's a spa pass that allows you to use their rain forest room. It had a few different showers that gave you the experience of a rain forest storm. They had different saunas and steam rooms, as well as my wifes favorite, the heated stone chairs. It's a great pass to purchase if you like to relax and enjoy some alone time away from the kids. It was especially good for us coming back from an excursion and being able to relax in the spa for a little bit before dinner and the show.
