This was our 8th cruise and 6th Carnival cruise. The check-in was very organized and because the wedding was to take place in Miami, we were granted early access to the ship. The wedding coordinator and the officiating pastor were very informative, but all the instructions had to be given last minute, which worked out fairly well and the venue was nicely decorated. We were given access to two rooms in which the bride and the groom and attendants dressed. Since one of the rooms was ours, we were able to bring all our luggage aboard without having to wait for it to be delivered later in the day.

The ship itself was my least favorite Carnival ship and the layout was a bit different - not bad, just different. There was no whirlpool in the gym which was a disappointment, but the gym itself had some really nice equipment - small, but very up to date. There were the usual classes offered and the usual spa treatments. There was no place outside the spa area in which to wait which made any wait periods awkward. The spa personnel were friendly and helpful.

We were in room 8274 which is a balcony stateroom. The room was nice and the cabin steward was very attentive and nice. The room itself was significantly SMALLER than any other cabin we've experienced so far... The cabin was quiet for the most part and the bed was SUPERIOR!!
