We have always been "loyal to Royal"but they are cutting back so much now that we aren't getting off our cruises feeling like we've been well looked after.

We booked a B2B with this first cruise to France, Spain, Portugal to be followed by 7 nights in Norway. We booked an inside cabin which is not something we normally do (but it was meant to be a cheap getaway).

Our cabin was as expected, small. It wasn't the cleanest we've had and it certainly had signs of wear. Royal have new beds which are rounded at the end, so I cannot understand why our cabin had an older square bed. There was no room to get around the bed as the edges were tight up again the TV unit or the settee. We had it changes to singles just to get around. The air conditioner was LOUD and there is no way to turn it off. The air was blowing directly onto the beds and we both got sore throats and colds.
