The Allure of the Seas is a truly amazing ship in terms of scale and amenities, and there were a lot of great opportunities for fun on board the ship.
Our stateroom was spacious and clean, and our stateroom steward was perhaps the highlight of the trip as far as staff goes. He was extremely friendly, always asking after our activities, happy to provide directions when requested, and often shared helpful tips for navigating the ship or timing our activities.
There was plenty to do on board; the rock climbing wall, zipline, and flow rider were all great fun.
The Central Park View Stateroom is everything that is advertised; spacious, clean, extremely pleasant and well appointed.
However, we personally did not find it worth the additional cost over an interior stateroom. We went out on the balcony perhaps twice (and rarely saw the balconies of other, similar staterooms occupied); there isn't much to see in central park aside from the for-fee restaurants, a few cruisers padding around, and some plants.
If you want a good simulation of what this balcony would be like, go to the atrium in a nearby hotel or a local shopping mall and sit and watch it for a few minutes. Far less engaging than a balcony stateroom overlooking the water.
Unless you are a huge fan of people watching, opt for the ocean balcony or the interior stateroom rather than this middle ground.
