I sailed on Carnival Conquest for my great niece's 16th birthday, with family and friends. The Conquest ship was a big disappointment and the stench on the ship was stomach-turning. I have sailed on 6 different Carnival ships and the Conquest was the worst. When I enter a cruise ship i usually go "WOW" because the decor is so beautiful but not this time. Carnival got it totally wrong with the ugly decor and design of this ship, it made the cruise that much unappealing. The ports of Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman Islands were very nice and I especially enjoyed the Cayman Islands and would love to return there. The food on the ship was ok, nothing to brag about but Carnival needs to step it up a bit. I can't remember any of my other Carnival Cruises being this bad, it seems like the workers are over worked with less help than in the past and Carnival has really cut back on a lot of things. Our cabin was nice and clean and the steward was very sweet. Entertainment was nice, we enjoyed every performance. The cost of pictures is outrageous, Carnival should lower the price or sell the pictures at half price on the last day and they would probably sell more. I overheard several people telling their kids that the pictures were too expensive to buy and they could only choose one. Carnival needs to listen to their customers demands. I would not recommend that ship to anyone.
