I chose this cruise because I am a regular customer of Royal Caribbean (this was my 7th RC cruise in 15 months) and I took my sister for the first time and she chose the itinerary. Vision was different in some ways to previous cruises. They did small things different to other RC ships and I have to say it lacked some wow factor. We saw 3 magic/comedy acts in 7 days and one act, the final night billing was awful. The Cruise Director was wooden, very poor humour and just lacked class. The dancers and singers, however, were great, among the best we 've seen. Our waitress was great and our cabin boy very good. The food was excellent, but the Windjammer choice was restricted compared to other ships. I am a big RCL fan I think their product is brilliant but the Vision left me feeling disappointed in some minor ways. I've become accustomed to seeing the senior staff on stage on the last night and having a Tropical night during the cruise. I just felt the entertainment staff were going through the motions rather than busting a gut to entertain, as is normal on RCL. Despite these reservations I am looking forward to my next cruise with RCL in October to Australia.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Standard cabin, totally adequate and very clean.

Port Reviews

Venice

Venice is beautiful. We just walked through the the city streets to drink in the atmosphere.

Kusadasi

Walked the city wall, excellent.

Santorini

Although beautiful Santorini is a frustrating place to visit. With four cruise ships in the bay that day the number of pedestrians on the streets is unbelievable and the traffic is mostly at a standstill. The authorities seem oblivious the the islands problems. With traffic at gridlock there is not one policeman to be seen anywhere, the poor coach drivers are just left to struggle. The cable car is overwhelmed, the donkey track a health and safety nightmare. Something needs to be done!!!!!!!!

Katakolon (Olympia)

Nice port and trip to Olimpia.
