We chose this trip for the itinerary and had a wonderful time. The experience onboard was just average, but provided convenient transportation to Ireland, N. Ireland, Scotland, and one day in France.

Following a pre-visit to London, we took the Princess shuttle bus from Victoria Coach Station. Arriving at our scheduled time, it was a madhouse of confusion. So many travelers were jammed in the gridlocked Princess area that it wasn't until other people, who had arrived earlier, helped us realize where to put our luggage and get into the check-in line. The confusion continued for new arrivals until some buses began to leave and the crowd began to thin. It didn't matter what your pre-arranged transfer time was. Tip: experienced travelers had showed up very early and were able to board the first busses. Upon arriving at the Southampton terminal, we were issued a colored number and had to wait to be called into line. This slowed down the boarding process as there were often no people in line to actually be checked in.

Our balcony cabin C-325 was ready and attendant Eddy outstanding throughout the cruise. Efficiently organized, the cabin was roomy enough with lots of storage space, a mini refrigerator, tiny safe, large balcony, comfortable bed, and was quiet throughout the trip. Actually, you couldn't hear any of the loudspeaker announcements because the speakers were out in the hallway. This time we remembered to bring magnetic clips for the walls which proved helpful in organizing our schedule, maps, Princess Patter, etc.
