Sail Date: Jun 2016
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

I read the reviews about this ship extensively before sailing, and have to admit most of the negative ones are quite accurate, this is not a luxury cruise, but a functional ferry, guests embark and disembark at every port.

We chose it for the Med destinations which we enjoyed, Genoa/Portafino, Marseille, Palma, Ibiza and Olbia, disembarking at Livorno.

The first thing folks from the US, UK or Australia notice is that most of the crew have the personality of passport control officers at international airports. A few reasonable ones stood out, but guest services need a total overhaul.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Beware of the after hour, above ceiling noises (midnight till 05.00 hrs) from crew dragging and cleaning sun lounges if you are in balcony suites on level 10...every night!

Every piece of linen, sheets, towels, covers had dirty marks.

Two positives were Hector our cabin steward, tried very hard to keep folks happy and Tony our dinner waiter, top marks, otherwise mostly couldn't care less to just plain rude.
