I chose this cruise because it was a new ship and I was traveling with my son, his wife and children. We didn't want to fly and this was within driving distance.

Asa diamond member, I have been on many, many ships and always try to be objective in my reviews. So, I was disappointed from the start. Before we even got out of the car, it was a nightmare. Cars to drop off were lined up and it took us 40 minutes just to get to the terminal. Check in was chaotic as they checked you in outside and people were just everywhere. I think they should go back to counter checkin.

The ship always felt crowded. Lines everywhere and you had to get a lounge chair at the pool at 8 am to get a decent spot. The windjammer was exactly that. Jammed all the time. Hard to find a table. They were constantly making announcements to kindly eat and move on so other people could eat. The windjammer was poorly located on the ship. You had to pass the elevators to get there. Thus, another traffic jam.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

The cabin was very large and beautifully decorated. Flat screen TV and plenty of storage. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was bigger than other ships I have been on.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Went to horsebay. Fabulous beach. Enough said

St. Maarten

Always a wonderful port. Great shopping and easy to get around. Locals were a bit annoying selling stuff on the beach.

San Juan

Didn't even get off the ship. Not enough time to do much of amything

Labadee

Been there before and it great place but we were all beached out and exhausted. Decided to stay on the ship and relax.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Embarkation chaotic. See my full review
