Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We went directly to the ship from the airport, since we had been to San Fran. several times. Embarkation and disembarkation is a smooth operation at this port. It was a beautiful day to be sailing under the Golden Gate bridge!

This ship, although remodeled, shows a lot of wear in it's public places. Seating is old, worn, and uncomfortable. Decorating is dated.

Our cabin, mini-suite on deck 8 aft, was roomy enough, but the sofa was old and not that comfortable. Was disappointed to find a fixed, not hand held, shower head. We thought all mini-suites on all Princess ships had ones that are hand held. Our cabin section had on and off septic problems. An area in the corridor near our room had an unpleasant septic.

Roomy, but dated. No hand held shower. Excellent room steward!
