Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B
Our second cruise with Celebrity and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ports visited were all amazing. Our top favourite stops were Malta (gorgeous sailing in and sailing away) make your way to lovely Mdina and lunch at Fontanella (amazing views) and breathtaking Santorini, make your way to Oia using the tour operators'(2) boat shuttles right off the tenders at Fira Port (20E, includes boat shuttle to Oia port, bus up to Oia, bus back to Fira including Skylift back down for ship tenders). Kusadasi(Ephesus) a must see, was very interesting we used an excellent semi-private tour for 25US. We never waited to get off and on the ship at all ports. Service on the Constellation was excellent, always with a smile and very courteous. Excellent dining room options, we never had any problems with Select Dining, we showed up when we were ready and a table was always available. Excellent and varied shows. We met amazing cruisers and had lots of fun. We purchased only two excursions from Celebrity - Athens (excellent tour and guide) and Salerno we booked Pompeii on our own, was very disappointing since we had to purchase tickets at Pompeii and waited over 1 hour just to buy tickets,lots of wasted previous time, would buy a full excursion with cruise line next time. The rest we organized ourselves using Cruise Critic and were all great experiences. Best cruise ever.

Nothing bad to say about our cabin, it was functional with great AC which is very important to us. Our steward was excellent. Great balcony just over lifeboats, did not impede our view whatsoever. Lots of storage and nice bathroom, shower with pressure. Very comfy beds.
Port Reviews
Rome (Civitavecchia)
Pick up for the port shuttle is so confusing, no one knows or cares to give you the right information. We were sent to the wrong area and waited and waited until a bus driver took pity on us and brought us right to the ship. Good Luck to all.
Taormina (Messina)
We organized a private transfer on Cruise Critic and made our way to Taorminar. Loved the canollis and arancinis, lovely day.
Malta (Valletta)
We took the HOHO from the port area (a little walk) and made our way to Mdina. Beautiful walled city had lunch at Fontanella memorable views. When we were ready to come back to Valetta pandemonium to get on the HOHO too many people. Take a taxi back.
Rhodes
We walked to old town and enjoyed the day. Do not take the HOHO, waste of money and time.
Kusadasi
We booked a semi-private excursion with Ephesusshuttle.com it was an excellent tour and our guide was very informative. Shopping is fun and good value, the shop owners are a bit pushy but just say no with a smile and they will leave you alone.
Mykonos
Pls do not take the ships shuttle 5US return (it drops quite far from old town), use the ferry taxi just outside the ship for 2E one-way, it will bring you right into the old town of Mykonos. Pretty town and fun to get lost in, have lunch in Little Venice right on the water, memorable.
Santorini
Our favourite Greek Island. we did not use the ship's excursion (4hrs 125.00US) because it did not offer exactly what we wanted to visit. Best decision ever, we were the first people to get off the ship, when we arrived at Fira Port there were
2 operators offering a boat shuttle to Oia including a bus ride up the hill to Oia and return bus to Fira (at 11h00, 12h00 and 13h00) your choice including Skylift tickets to get back down to Fira Port to hop on the tenders, amazing value for 20E per person. Oia is memorable, get there early you will have the town to yourselves.
