On our first Disney cruise, following many other cruises on different lines, we were curious to see how it would compare. I travelled with my 23 year old daughter and her friend...3 to a room, and it was adequately spacious for the three of us. Embarkation was speedy, and after the requisite first day buffet lunch we found our room quickly and were pleased with the space. Although the ship is a bit older, it was meticulously cleaned and everything was in good working order. The service was excellent, although we did comment that our dining room server started politicking for an excellent rating pretty early in the game. That being said, one cannot complain at all about the service. The food was also good with choices for our vegetarian to satisfy her. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with hot and cold items, and dinners were tasty with lots of upscale choices as well. We did not feel a need to try out the pay dining room as our meals were quite satisfactory and we enjoyed the rotational schedule provided for us to try out new venues..3 restaurants in total.

I don't know whether there were tv. channels I just did not find, but it seemed that all choices were either cruise or Disney related, so at the end of the week I realized I had missed some rather large news coverage. The Disney shows on stage were well done and entertaining for both adults and kids...there seemed to be lots of family groups that included grandparents, parents and kids. The scenery is truly breathtaking, and our weather was sunny and warm which made hiking and glacier watching enjoyable.
