We chose this cruise because we were interested in cruising through Greece. The dates were best for us as well. We enjoyed the ports very much. Greece is absolutely beautiful. We appreciated all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. The food from the dining restaurants to the cafeteria was excellent. I was a bit disappointed that there are specialty restaurants that you have to pay extra for. When you pay for a cruise, I don't think there should be so many extras that cost even more. I also don't appreciate the pressure to buy pictures that are taken as you embark and disembark the boat, and other extras. The freestyle dining is okay but I really enjoy cruises where you have a set time for dinner and you share a table with the same people each night. In previous cruises this provided an opportunity to really get to know some other guests and share your adventures from one port to another. We participated in one shore excursion that was very good. We enjoyed ourselves as well as getting to know other cruise guests during the day. The entertainment was okay. Not the best I've seen. I would compare to a small town theater production versus Vegas productions. It fit more into the small town theater category although some were better. The cabin was very comfortable and the movies and shows provided were great. The highlight of the ports was in Katakalon, Greece where we hired a taxi company Olympia Taxi. Our driver Nicholas was so wonderful. He treated us like family and showed us some wonderful sites as well as a true sense of Greece. I highly recommend looking him up on trip advisor and emailing him if you want a very professional and personal tour.
