We got an extended balcony cabin on the back of the ship, we were excited to spend a lot of time on the balcony, But! that didn't happen because it was just dead air & hot out there, the way it was designed there is absolutely no breeze ever, I thought we may get some air when the ship is under way, Wrong! if you lean over the rail you can get a bit of a breeze, I noticed that the entire cruise, no one was on there balconies more than about 10 minutes. The staff was all friendly and done a great job, we tipped our steward "Johnson" an extra $20 at debarkation. For the first three days of our cruise, only one elevator worked out of four at our rear section of the ship, only choices were to walk a long way to the mid ship elevators, or go up the steps, I have bad knee's and back, so after three days of going up & down steps, I was down with lots of pain and couldn't do anything that involved much walking the rest of the cruise. The AC in the room would barely get you cool if you lay very still, the setting knob on the vent would turn about an inch, done the same no matter where it was set, I was hot and uncomfortable the entire cruise, the only place I found to cool off on the entire ship, was standing in front of a big exhaust vent at the adult serenity area or in the shower. I ate food from several places around the ship and didn't care much for any of it. If you walk around in Nassau in the port area, beware of a Bahamian skank hustling money, my wife and I only had $22 in cash, so we were looking for an ATM we cut up a street where there was very few and her, she head us off in a tight area and said; welcome to Nassau, then pulled out a couple dime store Bahama's bracelets and said these are free, grabbed my arm and said; relax, I don't bite, quickly tied it on my arm, then my wife, then she said; I only need $5-$10 each, I do it for children, I said; not a chance, but my wife handed her the $2 she had, she then looked at us in disgust, rolled her eye's, hatefully turned and walked off without a word, doing it for "The Drugs" I'm pretty sure, I would guess there is probably several like her hustling the streets, she acted like she needed to be discreet, so she'd probably get in trouble if caught. Best thing to do at Nassau, is go to the beach rite next to the port. I'll not go on a cruise on any old ship from none of the cruise lines again. Hope this helps you and you have a much better experience than I had.
