We stayed in Venice for a few days before joining the ship, & in fact saw it arriving the day before we embarked, when we were out walking.

We are Diamond Plus members & decided to opt for an Owners Suite for this cruise. We have never been on the Rhapsody, but have sailed on other Vision class ships, as well as all other classes, except the newest ones.

Charles, our room attendant was one of the best we have had, and we have been fortunate to have had good ones in the past.

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite

Cabin OS

Our suite was in excellent condition & well maintained by Charles, a very helpful, friendly & personable chap. Enjoyed the space & the super comfortable loungers on the balcony.

Plenty of storage space & many hangers in the wardrobes. Liked the separate large shower & jacuzzi bath, but alas we did not use the latter. Plenty of towels, & toiletries were constantly being replaced, as was the ice. Cannot fault the service provided by super Charles. Beware of one thing....one mirror looked as if it came from the crazy house of mirrors, but caused us mirth every time we stopped at it !

Port Reviews

Venice

Fascinating place to explore on foot

Corfu

Interesting to walk around

Santorini

Once on the island, good to walk about, but give yourself plenty of time to wait in line for the cable car back down to the tender station

Athens (Piraeus)

Know this very well. Alas a train & metro strike occurred the day we were there, so just walked about locally, otherwise it would have been to the Acropolis & Plaka area

Mykonos

Easy to find your way around this place, but it can be very windy, so hold onto your hats ! Local ferry to Delos, €20 return each, plus €12 for entry into the site.

Zadar

Liked the old town. Shuttle bus required as not possible to walk into town. Water organ was interesting, but not exactly melodious !
