This cruise was our family’s personal goodbye cruise for The Enchantment of the Seas. We are SO SAD to see her leave Port Canaveral! It was very convenient for us all to take quick fun get-away cruises which worked beautifully around work schedules. We are so disappointed that substitute for the Enchantment will be the Majesty of the Seas. It is SO old, with NO balcony staterooms or the other amenities which we love like the Concierge and Diamond Lounges.
Also, just in case the management of RCL thinks your Crown and Anchor members didn’t notice, we did miss the Welcome Back party for all Crown and Anchor members and the Top-Tier function. Since we were in a suite, we also missed the special breakfast with the officers. The breakfast was really one of the things we looked forward to the most since we really got to know the officers in the ship that way. We had to downgrade officer visibility from the usual “10” since we just didn’t see them this time with all the complementary service reductions.
On the plus side, the crew was wonderful as always with special thanks to our dependable room steward, water, and assistant waiter. They were always so efficient and friendly. The Concierge, Alan del Fierro was always working hard to keep everyone satisfied and he was so personable. He even served drinks when the bar servers routinely disappeared one-hour before closing time in both the Diamond and Concierge Lounges. The Diamond Concierge did not.
Very spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite with a huge living room and balcony.
Terminal 1 in Port Canaveral is FANTASTIC!
We seldom get off the ship at Nassau, but would recommend going to Atlantis in Paradise Island.
