This was our first cruise and the ports were spectacular. Each island (St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten) was filled with plenty of activities and great beaches. Unfortunately, the ship itself was the VERY disappointing, it is in need up a complete overhaul. The crew and staff were wonderful, always friendly and attentive. However, the ship is an older one that is starting to show its age, including one of the elevators that was out of service the entire duration of the cruise. There was construction occurring on the Lido deck every morning then it would be roped off with caution tape all day close to the main pool. The mini-golf course was so lame, my boys didn't even what to play and they LOVE mini-golf. They were even missing a piece on the oversized chess set on deck- really?! The entertainment on the ship was a bit cheesy. A couple of the comedians were good for the family friendly version early in the evening. The Hasbro Game Show was fun! There was an illusionist who performed more of a dance and stretch show than any illusions. It seemed like he was very new performing. The food was consistently bad, though every now and then you'd get something good. The lox and bagel for breakfast in the dining room was excellent. The food in the main dining room was pitiful, the shrimp cocktail looked like airplane food. Most people go on a cruise and gain weight, I ended up losing 3lbs!

We had a suite with a balcony and it was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids, we even had a bathtub!

We booked our own excursions directly with Calabaza in Barbados and they were SPECTACULAR!!! In St. Maarten we booked an excursion with Captain Alan's and it was phenomenal!!!! In St. Lucia we booked directly with TreeTops and had an awesome time zip lining!
