A neighbor arranged the cruise and invited others to join. First, let me say that cruising is not my first choice of vacation. I would rather spend more time in one location and decide what to do on our own. However, as this cruise went to a part of the world we had never been, it seemed like a good option. The cruise was on the Baltic Sea and visited St. Petersburg, Tallin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Berlin. The food ok and plentiful. Everything seemed set up to get as much money out of your pocket as possible, but I witnessed other passengers who seemed to be there to spend as much money as they possibly could, so it depends on what one chooses to do with your recreational funds. The waitstaff, room stewards were courteous and efficient. The entertainment was better than I anticipated. The ports of call were nice and the cruise was designed so you can say you were in a lot of countries and cities. However, there is not much option other than to book expensive tours as you spend so little time in any one place. I'm glad I went, but it will be some time before we go on another cruise. Again, our usual way to enjoy Europe is to pick a country, go for a minimum of three weeks, rent a car for the duration and stay in B&B's. Due to the way we enjoy traveling our cruise review may be somewhat biased.
Very efficient use of a small space. Everything worked as it should. Luggage could be stored under the bed. Bedding was ok. Hairdryer included. TV was minimal.
Best part of the trip but we stayed in a hotel and explored the city on our own.
