My wife and myself have been on many cruise liners but never with Thomson however, we was offered a great deal by our local travel agent so we thought we would give it a try and so pleased we did.

On arrival we was greeted by some lovely staff who ushered into a quick queuing system and then was given our cabin number (which we had paid for in advance) and our cases arrived swiftly afterwards. We had a quick safety drill which seemed straight forward and soon after we then could continue with our holiday. We ate most nights in the Seven Seas where the food was ample, hot and delicious and the staff could not do enough for you. Occasionally we ate in the buffet restaurant which we found again great food, i really do not understand how people can complain as there was a wide range of choice and again food was served hot. My wife wanted to go watch the entertainment and i must admit i thoroughly enjoyed these shows, especially Africa and Westend Wonders, These dancers were so talented that myself and my wife ended up watching the shows each night before retiring to the Rendezvous bar where we then would sometimes listen to a lovely man called Ben singing. This man was so talented and again we both relaxed with a lovely glass of wine listening to his great voice. One night in particular a very young small girl came and sang with Ben, where had this talent been hiding??? When i asked who this young girl was apparently she was a dancer from the show team. Thomson do have some excellent young talent amongst this ship. The bar staff was very attentive and was always coming and asking us if we would like another drink when they saw our drinks were low.

Our cabin was very spacious, a lot bigger than what we expected so this was another added bonus for us and our lovely ladies who looked after our room could not have done enough for us.
