The ship didn't live up to the Royal Caribbean reputation. It's very tired and old fashioned. Our dining experience in the main restaurant was so disappointing, very poor standard of catering. We could only describe it as being a similar standard that you would expect from a budget airline. After numerous complaints the staff did nothing to improve our experience. We spoke to many other passengers on the ship, many of whom were regulars with RC and they were all as annoyed as us about the dreadful quality of the food on board. It appears that Royal Caribbean are neither committed to, or interested in giving their guests an enjoyable vacation experience. This was a very expensive holiday that didn't offer value for money! When we got back we emailed RC to register our complaint, it took them 10 days to respond! We were offered $ 500 on board credit for our next holiday, what an insult considering we were given $ 400 on the last shop as standard. We will certainly not be holidaying with RC again!
