We've been lucky enough to travel on several of the major cruise lines, and I have to say that the Disney cruises are the best we've had. This is the second Disney cruise, and it was just as nice as the first one.

The ships are clean, well maintained and well run. We stayed in a Family Suite, which slept all 4 of us (although it looks like there are beds for 5). Are kids are older now, but surprisingly, the Disney cruises are just as good for adults as small children. I think it is because unlike other ships, there are so many activities on board, that children don't get bored and just start tearing around a ship like you tend to see on other ships.

I have mixed feelings about the Dining offered. The buffet is the best on any ship I've been on so far, great selection and quality. They even include sodas with the meals! Where I have an issue is evening meals. The buffet shuts down at dinner, so you have to eat in assigned dining. Here the service seems comparable to most other ships. In this instance, we had a very poor table in "Tianas" room in the Royal Palace, which is a small, windowless room off of the main area. It was stuffy and claustrophobic and clearly set up for a small size private party that could be segregated from the main area. It was unpleasant enough that we refused to dine in the other restaurants assuming a similar setup in each. We were able to dine one evening in Cabanas, but the following night it was closed so it was burgers or room service (blah).
