Background: Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Pearl, Alaska Cruise. The whole group was four couples, but the following are mostly my and my husband's experiences. My husband and I are in our 20's, if that matters. Our ports were Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay Nat'l Park, Victoria BC.

Ship: It had an overall nice layout with a variety of styles for venue, cuisine, and lots of good mapping to get from point A to point B on the ship (Pearl). The non-cabin decks had a touch screen that provided a current schedule, ship mapping (with step by step directions), and much more.

Cabin: It was larger than the one I had stayed in with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. We felt like we had plenty of room in our interior stateroom. I'm not denying it was small, but I didn't feel claustrophobic or cramped. Our stateroom steward was phenomenal. She addressed us by name and started to anticipate our needs, which was great! By the way, THERE IS a mini-fridge in the cabin (for the mini-bar). Before the cruise, I asked a phone rep and they said there was not one in my room type, so we went without soda for a week. We could have easily brought it on board and put them in there to chill. I think they told me "no" so I would be more inclined to buy a soda package, which I didn't do.

Cabin ID

I listed inside cabin. I don't know the actual category. It was an interior cabin in the forward 3rd of the ship.
