Overall - This was my sixth cruise on Norwegian. The Escape and the cruise rank in the middle to lower end of them. There are many things to like about the Escape and there are some drawbacks.

Cabin - The cabin was nice with plenty of storage space; it had more storage space by far than all the other cruises. This was a nice feature as we were not struggling to find places for our clothing and items.

Dining - Lots of specialty restaurants, most you need to pay for a la carte and it adds up quickly. There is a bar between two of the main dining rooms and there is piano and singing entertainment in the bar. The sound easily carries into the dining rooms that have their own music. This creates a competition for sound and lessens the dining experience. This was made worse on my cruise as the entertainer was quite bad. Buffet is pretty standard.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Loved spending the time in Nassau.

St. Thomas

Enjoyed my time walking around St. Thomas. Had lunch and browsed through the local shops. I stayed away from the "recommended" shopping places as I've had bad luck in these places in the past.

Miami

Good place to embark.
