Embarkation was smooth and very quick. We were on the ship before lunch. Oasis of the Seas is a very nice ship. We sailed it when it was first launched. This time the staff was not up to par. We had many encounters with rude staff members. RCCL has cheapened their brand it seems. Every day we were annoyed by staff trying to sell the beverage package. The ship never seemed crowded. There were several occasions with rude passengers. Mostly at the elevators. There were a lot of teenagers in loud groups, especially in the evening. There was no supervision of these "packs" of teenagers.

The food was average on this ship. We ate in the Main Dining Room each night. We only went to one specialty restaurant, Sabor! We ate there twice, both times for lunch. It was amazing. Try the margaritas and the guacamole. Our granddaughter has food allergies and the Head Waiter in the MDR was amazing. He was very attentive to all of her food issues.

The photo shop was awful. The photos are over priced and not good quality. The staff there was very rude and very pushy to purchase the photo packages. RCCL should rethink how they manage this area.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Our cabin was wonderful. Very spacious with plenty of storage space. The only complaint would be that Junior Suite guests are not treated the same as the other Suite guests. In a Junior Suite you are the lowest of the suite class and do not enjoy the same amenities that the bigger suites receive. We paid for three Junior suites for our family. We should have been equal to the other guests. RCCL needs to rethink this situation.
